Technical Recruiter - Banking & Financial Services
Lead II - TR
UST is searching for a Technical Recruiter - Banking & Financial Services responsible for end to end life cycle recruiting including sourcing, applicant testing, interviewing, presenting, conducting background checks and closing requisitions which are assigned.
The opportunity:
• Responsible for providing a high level of recruiting services to business leaders by developing key recruiting strategies.
• Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
• Develop & execute sourcing/recruitment strategies, policies and procedures as required
• Responsible to handle queries and manage candidate experience process.
• Explore and suggest areas for process improvements and optimizing cost effective hiring channels.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and trends in recruitment to ensure compliance with established procedures and applicable employment related laws.
• Develop and maintain strong work relationships with leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a collaborative partnership.
• Responsible to execute framework on hiring process from understanding the requirements and developing right sourcing strategies to ensuring on-time talent delivery.
• To establish communications at every step of the process with hiring managers and candidates
• Utilizes data to assist the Hiring Manager throughout the recruitment process to ensure data driven decision making.

What you need:
• 5-10 years of experience in full-cycle technical recruitment and headhunting, ideally within banking, financial services, fintech, or related industries.
• Strong skills in sourcing, Boolean/LinkedIn recruiting, technical screening, candidate engagement, stakeholder management, and ATS/CRM platforms.
• Working knowledge of technology roles and banking environments, with a degree or diploma in HR, Business, IT, Finance, or a related field.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Hybrid - Toronto
Compensation Range: $104,000-$130,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
Part-time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
