Job Title
Technical Quality Assurance - Sr Professional I

About your role:

You will support quality assurance for electronic billing, payment and banking products from Fiserv. You will work with product, development, business analysis and Quality Assurance teams to validate product functionality, improve automated test coverage and support reliable releases for financial institution and business clients.

What you'll do:
  • Develop test plans, use cases and test scenarios based on business requirements, functional requirements and release scope.
  • Execute manual and automated tests for new features, product changes and existing application functionality.
  • Build and maintain automated test scripts using C# .NET and existing automation frameworks.
  • Write and run database queries to validate data, troubleshoot defects and confirm expected application behavior.
  • Document, report and track defects through resolution using test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Evaluate automation framework changes and recommend updates that improve test coverage, maintainability or execution efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development, Quality Assurance, business analysis and partner teams across India and the US to support iterative product releases.

Experience you'll need to have:
  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance testing for web, application or financial technology products.
  • 4+ years of experience creating test plans, test cases, use cases and test scenarios from business and functional requirements.
  • 4+ years of experience developing or supporting automated test solutions using C# .NET or a similar object-oriented programming language.
  • 4+ years of experience writing Structured Query Language queries to validate application data and troubleshoot testing results.
  • 4+ years of experience using test management and defect tracking tools to document test execution, report defects and track resolution.
  • 4+ years of experience communicating test status, risks and defects to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.


Experience that would be great to have:
  • Experience with banking, bill payment or electronic billing products.
  • Experience applying Agile testing practices within iterative software delivery.
  • Experience using command-line functions in UNIX and Windows environments.
  • Experience with Python, VBScript, Ruby, AutoHotKey, Microsoft Office, SharePoint or Skype.
