Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Technical Project Manager.  The Technical Project Manager will perform the following (but not limited too). 

 

  • Assist with leading the daily development and operational scrums.
  • Maintain and groom JIRA, this means opening tickets, ensuring tickets conform to standards, ensuring tickets close, assist with building and monitoring release progress
  • Building and maintaining a Project Schedule
  • Preparing regular reports – like the in-progress review, monthly status report, and the quality status report.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and ability to use within a project
  • Familiarity w/ building and maintaining business documents – software release plan, QSR, project documentation
  • Need to understand the RMF/ATO process as it relates to software development.
  • Need to understand the Okta technology
Qualifications
  • 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with HS Diploma/equivalent
  • Project management experience
  • SCRUM familiarity – will have them lead scrums
  • JIRA familiarity – will have them maintain and groom JIRA, this means opening tickets, ensuring tickets conform to standards, ensuring tickets close, assist with building and monitoring release progress
  • Project Schedule – Experience building, but majority of duty will be maintaining project schedule
  • Preparing regular reports – IPR, MSR, QSR
  • Familiarity with AI tools to improve efficiency
  • Familiarity w/ building and maintaining business documents – software release plan, QSR, project documentation

Desired:

  • PMP, not required
  • NIST 800-63 familiarity
  • Okta Professional Certification
  • Security clearance or background investigation
Target Salary Range$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
