We are seeking a Cloud Migration Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale cloud transformation initiatives, working closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing complex cloud migration programs, driving execution across cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise cloud migration projects, from initiation through post-migration stabilization.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resource allocation, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
- Partner with stakeholders to define migration strategies, roadmaps, and execution plans aligned with business objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Infrastructure, Application Development, Security, Networking, DevOps, and Operations.
- Manage application and data migration activities to AWS cloud environments.
- Drive dependency tracking, cutover planning, testing coordination, and go-live execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues proactively, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, governance, and quality standards throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and stakeholder reviews.
- Track and report project KPIs, milestones, deliverables, and overall program health.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate third-party resources where applicable.
- Provide regular executive-level status updates, escalation management, and strategic recommendations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to cloud transformation best practices.
Required Skills & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of project or program management experience, including leading enterprise technology initiatives.
- Proven experience delivering AWS cloud migration and cloud transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture concepts, and migration methodologies.
- Experience coordinating large-scale, cross-functional technology teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in project planning, risk management, stakeholder management, and dependency tracking.
- Experience managing application migration, infrastructure modernization, and cloud adoption initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and project governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Preferred Qualifications- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification.
- AWS Cloud certifications preferred.
- Experience working within financial services, capital markets, fintech, or other highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Experience managing global distributed teams and third-party vendors.
The base salary range is $150,000 - $160,000
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role and level. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
