Full Job Description
You Are:

The Technical Program Senior Manager will provide program management leadership and oversight of projects supporting Defense Industrial Base (DIB) customers under the Accenture Federal Services (AFS) Defense and Intelligence (D&I) Portfolio within the Modern Engineering practice. They will operate in a matrixed environment providing management oversight of multiple complex technical projects supporting DIB unclassified and classified cloud enablement efforts. Additionally, the Technical Program Senior Manager will serve as the Technical Lead across the program, ensuring alignment with federal clients and mission requirements by leading and mentoring a team of analysts and engineers in data engineering best practices, including ingestion, transformation, quality assurance, and enrichment of diverse data sources.

The Work:
  • Support the development and execution of comprehensive project management approaches for the project managers, including schedules, deliverables, resource allocation, and risk management strategies, leveraging PgM best practices where applicable
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and methodologies; work with other PgMs to share improvements in best practices
  • Ensure diligent management of project budgets, accurate financial reporting, cost-effective utilization of cloud resources, and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule. Coordinate regular updates and reports on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators to customers and SCP leadership.
  • Ensure projects have timely and thorough reporting on AFS Delivery Scorecards, Quality Assurance Delivery reviews, and other regular touchpoints.
  • Coordinate with DIB stakeholders and industry partners to maximize opportunities for mission success. Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as a solution architect, shaping the design of technical solutions by evaluating requirements, recommending scalable approaches, and ensuring interoperability across the project
  • Define the long-term tech stack for federal agencies, moving them away from legacy technical debt toward modern, resilient frameworks

Here's What You Need:
  • 5+ Years experience managing technology projects and programs or 5+ projects serving in delivery lead or related capacity.
  • 10+ years of industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience with fundamental cloud computing concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience with federal acquisition processes, contract types and structures, and budget programming cycles and timelines.
  • 3+ years experience managing mid-level and junior business and IT personnel or 3+ projects serving in a lead role.
  • 3+ years experience with agile software development lifecycle.

Bonus Points If:
  • 15+ years of industry experience
  • Experience with Defense Industrial Base companies and missions.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Commercial cloud certifications (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or other)
  • Strong creativity, communication skills, and cross-group collaboration skills.
  • Passion for finding process and product solutions for hard problems at scale and building partnerships to operationalize said solutions in new, undefined spaces.
  • Eligibility for TS/SCI with CI Poly required for full integration into all portfolio activities. Job could be performed with a minimum Secret clearance or with interim or in-process clearance.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
