Full Job Description
About the role

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive execution of Applied Intuition's global autonomous trucking programs. You will own the milestones our OEM customers are measured against, lead new operational launches - including standing up operations at new sites, lanes, and regions - and keep engineering, operations, and customer teams moving against a single plan.

This is a hands-on execution role. You will work daily with engineers at Applied Intuition and inside customer organizations, translating Level 4 (L4) autonomy deployment goals into schedules, dependencies, and decisions that hold up under pressure.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
  • Own program milestones end to end for strategic trucking engagements with global truck OEMs - building the integrated schedule, tracking dependencies across teams, and holding the organization to committed dates.
  • Lead new operational launches, including bringing up autonomous trucking operations at new sites and routes. You will build the launch plan and sequence work across facilities, fleet, safety, engineering, and local operations through to first revenue miles.
  • Surface and resolve risk early. Identify gaps before they become slips, drive blockers to resolution rather than escalate them, and make trade-offs visible to the people who need to decide.
  • Be the source of truth on program status for both working teams and executives - at Applied Intuition and at the customer. This means translating technical detail into decisions leadership can act on, not forwarding status decks.
  • Work directly with OEM customers and stakeholders to pin down use cases, clarify requirements, and unblock technical challenges across hardware, software, safety, and operations.
  • Implement operating practices that scale, so the second site launch is faster than the first and the tenth does not require you in the room.
  • Support business development by contributing to technical proposals and RFQ responses and hosting technology demonstrations for customer and executive audiences.
We're looking for someone who has:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience on advanced software, robotics, or autonomous vehicle programs (ADAS or L4 autonomy), including ownership of hard external deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a program launch or operational bring-up -a new site, facility, fleet, route, or region - from plan through steady state.
  • Track record running programs across distributed teams, sites, and time zones.
  • Ability to get deep into technical detail: enough systems-level understanding of hardware, software, and field operations to challenge a schedule you are handed rather than just publish it.
  • Communication skills that work in both directions - credible with engineers in a debug session and with OEM executives in a review.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to customer and operational sites.
Nice to have:
  • Direct experience on L4 autonomy programs, particularly trucking or long-haul freight.
  • Experience in commercial vehicle, logistics, or fleet operations.
  • Experience working directly with OEM or Tier 1 customers on joint development programs.

Don't meet every single requirement? If you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
