Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead large-scale, cross-functional technology programs across engineering, platform, data, and product teams. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, program management excellence, stakeholder engagement, and delivery leadership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving complex initiatives from planning through execution while ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical strategy, and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technical programs across engineering, platform, data, and product organizations.
- Define program scope, objectives, milestones, success criteria, and delivery roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Develop and manage comprehensive program plans, schedules, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Drive program execution, ensuring timely delivery of commitments while maintaining quality and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with architects, engineering leaders, and technical teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and efficient solution delivery.
- Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, reporting structures, communication plans, and execution standards.
- Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate program risks, issues, dependencies, and bottlenecks.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide clear communication across leadership, product, engineering, and business teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, Program Increment (PI) planning activities, roadmap reviews, and cross-team coordination.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on delivery efficiency, predictability, and operational maturity.
- Track, analyze, and report program performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple locations, including onshore and offshore delivery models where applicable.
- Ensure alignment between business priorities, technical execution, and strategic initiatives.
- Support decision-making processes through data-driven reporting, status updates, and executive presentations.
Required Qualifications- 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Program Management, Project Management, or related leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading large-scale, complex enterprise technology programs from initiation through delivery.
- Strong technical background with experience supporting cloud platforms, distributed systems, and data platform initiatives.
- Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and cloud-based architectures.
- Experience managing cross-functional programs involving engineering, platform, data, and product teams.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, SAFe, and Program Increment (PI) Planning.
- Demonstrated experience with program planning, execution management, milestone tracking, and delivery governance.
- Experience managing risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and competing priorities across multiple teams.
- Strong understanding of technical architecture concepts, including scalability, performance, reliability, and distributed systems.
- Experience developing and tracking KPIs, program metrics, and executive-level reporting.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, complex, and evolving environments.
- Experience establishing program governance, operational discipline, and delivery best practices.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, fintech, or other regulated industries.
- Experience supporting enterprise data platforms, cloud modernization, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with cloud cost optimization, FinOps practices, and operational excellence frameworks.
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams, including offshore and onshore delivery models.
- Experience leading large-scale cloud migration, platform modernization, or enterprise transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology ecosystems and modern software delivery practices.
