Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.
  • 8 years of experience in infrastructure.
  • 5 years of experience in leadership role with direct reports.

Preferred qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience in telecommunications or Hyperscale Infrastructure, with 5 years in experience in engineering leadership.
  • Extensive experience with large-scale data center operations and network build-outs.
  • Deep understanding of networking technologies: IP/MPLS, optical transport, data center networking, wireless technologies, and large-scale network architectures.
  • Ability to lead geographically dispersed technical teams and experience in a continuous improvement leadership role, ideally with a focus on lean methodologies.
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills. Ability to translate broad business objectives and technical challenges into action.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Manager to lead our Network Delivery Implementation (NDI) organization as a Technical Lead. This pivotal leadership role is instrumental in driving the successful and scalable deployment of Google's large-scale networking solutions within their assigned region in North America.

This leader will be responsible for establishing and executing a goal for continuous improvement, meticulously driving processes and performance to achieve dynamic metrics across interval, quality, and cost. A paramount focus will be on cultivating a strong culture of operational safety, viewed through the lens of our customers.

In this role, you will possess a deep understanding of the large-scale networking landscape, coupled with a track record of driving business process innovation that accelerates network delivery at scale. Experience working within complex data center environments and a strong background in network technologies are essential.
