In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of Technology Development Programs within Enterprise Technology. You will partner with product management and engineering to to define the long-term vision of the product, define the program scope and milestones and own delivery of cross organization initiatives. Assist in developing and leading organization roadmaps, driving efficiency in processes, and delivering on goals. You understand, utilize and share program-management best practices.

As a Technical Program Manager III, you are accountable for the overall program scope and strategy as well as driving teams inside and outside your organization to deliver against that plan. You are able to define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set goals, analyze data, drive improvements that are quantified with metrics, and influence resource allocation. You understand the systems in your product or program space, their limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and reasons behind architectural choices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the design, development, testing and deployment of features into production across multiple technical teams.
  • Create and track project milestones, risks and dependencies, describe, own and prioritize all technical requirements associated with delivery.
  • Dive deep and understand the design details of the systems in your area, especially those related to customer interfaces, and the expectations for system dependencies.
  • Identify existing systems or services will require changes in order to implement the new capability, work with the SDM for each system to estimate the work involved.
  • Develop an implementation plan across teams.
  • Demonstrate good judgment in how and when to escalate critical program decisions.
  • Write effective narratives on program decisions, technical trade-offs and program updates.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams in product management, program management or engineering roles
  • 3+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams, platform development teams or technology operations.
  • Experience managing programs across technical and business teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLAs used to drive technology delivery and product health.
  • Proven track record of delivering results for technology project delivery across technical teams and business users.
  • Experience with Confluence, JIRA
  • Experience with data analysis to capture, process, and organize data to uncover actionable insights.


Base Pay Range for:
WA applicants is $121,023.00 - $169,432.20
