Responsibilities - Manage projects and data analysis to ensure computing power is budgeted and distributed efficiently across the company, leading programs that reduce waste to achieve our savings goal.
- Lead analytical efforts to model future computing demand and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure the amount of hardware is deployed globally to meet those needs.
- Shape strategy and rules for how computing resources are shared company-wide, while defining the requirements for software tools that automate shared resources.
- Lead transition of internal business units from managing own demand to a centralized, shared model, ensuring that each team's specific technical needs are met during the migration.
- Monitor key metrics to track cost savings and hardware availability, while identifying and mitigating risks (i.e sudden spikes in usage to ensure that sharing resources never impacts the reliability of our services).
