Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Program Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Organizational Communication, Computer Science or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Technical Program Manager-related occupation.
- Position requires 2 years of experience in the following: Program execution and governance for construction or Data center automation technology delivery in enterprise offices, data centers, or ISP/Telco environments; Program planning for Hyperscale or Data center infrastructure projects using Agile, Waterfall, PMP, or similar project management methodologies, including creation of project plans, roadmaps, and risk registers; Continuous process improvement for technology programs through defining and tracking KPIs and success metrics; Managing organizational change for technology rollouts, including development of rollout plans and impact analysis reports; and Technical analysis of engineering problems for data center infrastructure programs.
About the jobThe US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000 - $198,000 15% bonus target equity benefits determined by role, level, and location. Position reports to the Google Atlanta, GA office & may allow for a hybrid schedule per Google policy.
Responsibilities- Define project scope and independently author program charters, creating detailed project plans that outline phases, resources, risks, and dependencies.
- Develop and maintain operational dashboards, monitoring key program metrics to identify deviations and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Design and execute targeted communication plans for various stakeholders, representing the program team and providing transparency into program pivots and progress.
- Develop and manage comprehensive change management rollout plans, analyzing impact, monitoring progress, and resolving misalignments with key partners.
- Manage program escalations and independently triage technical issues, assessing their impact and resolving requests related to tooling and operational processes.
