Technical/Professional - Manufacturing Planner | Owego, New York, United States [About the Role]
Join our team as a Technical/Professional Manufacturing Planner at our Owego, NY facility. You will play a critical part in maintaining and enhancing the integrity of our Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOMs) and Material Master (MM) data within PTC Windchill PLM software. As a subject matter expert, you will empower manufacturing teams to achieve operational excellence, drive data quality improvements, and support key digital transformation initiatives.
[Responsibilities]
- Maintain and update MBOMs and MM attributes in PTC Windchill PLM systems
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Master Data Analysts, and Component Engineers to ensure data accuracy and quality
- Troubleshoot cross-site data errors and resolve system discrepancies with minimal supervision
- Lead database administration efforts to support manufacturing adaptability and efficiency
- Generate metrics and provide actionable insights to improve database automation and data stewardship
- Deliver training to new engineers on PLM systems and best practices
- Actively participate in the 1LMX Transition, shaping the future of Lockheed Martin's manufacturing data processes
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Proven expertise in database administration and analytical problem-solving
- Strong communication abilities for effective cross-functional collaboration
- Technical background in manufacturing environments
- Experience with PLM software, preferably PTC Windchill
- Demonstrated ability to independently resolve technical system errors and data mismatches
- Familiarity with manufacturing or military specification documentation
- 15 years of relevant experience

- STEM degree
- Experience with manufacturer technical datasheets (TDS)
- Knowledge of MPMLink software
- Data compilation and maintenance in structured database tools
