We are looking for a Technical Product Owner with a strong background in Wealth Management and Business Systems Analysis to join our Canada Wealth Technology team.In this role, you'll lead the delivery of high-impact technology initiatives, working closely with business partners, developers, architects, and vendors to translate business needs into scalable solutions. You will own the squad backlog, drive Agile delivery, and ensure technology investments align with business objectives and client outcomes.What You'll Do- Partner with business stakeholders to understand priorities, define requirements, and translate them into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business and technology goals.
- Leverage your Business Systems Analyst experience to analyze processes, identify opportunities, and recommend innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions within Agile frameworks.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.
- Review business and technical requirements, solution designs, test strategies, and implementation plans to ensure successful delivery.
- Support production releases, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize modern tools, including AI-enabled technologies, to improve efficiency and delivery outcomes.
What You Bring- 5+ years of experience in Technology Delivery, Product Ownership, Business Systems Analysis, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian Wealth Management industry, including business processes, products, and regulatory considerations.
- Proven experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to bridge business and technology teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Hands-on experience working within Agile environments, including backlog management, sprint planning, and user story development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and modern delivery tools.
- Exposure to cloud technologies, APIs, integrations, and digital platforms is an asset.
- Experience leveraging AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT to enhance productivity and delivery effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications:- Knowledge of SAML authentication, identity management, and application session integration.
- Knowledge of data privacy, governance, or compliance frameworks relevant to our industry.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, DevSecOps, and system architecture concepts
- Experience with workflow automation and integration tools (e.g., Power Automate).
- Understanding of API concepts, documentation and testing tools.
- SAFe or Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe RTE, SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master) are considered an asset
