Information Technology Specialist -- Technical Product Manager, GG-2210-13 to work for Platform One under the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at JBSA in San Antonio, TX.
Base Salary Range: $132,751 to $181,428

Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for; you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.
This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V3007.

Qualifications/Requirements:
In this position you will serve as a Technical Product Manager responsible for aligning and prioritizing your team's work to meet objectives at the program, Air Force, and DoD levels. You'll collaborate with or lead a scrum team to schedule and track work, ensuring continuous delivery of software while maintaining a safe work environment. Your responsibilities include defining software acceptance criteria, developing DevSecOps processes, and creating software automations. You will also address concerns or conflicts, provide feedback on contractor performance, and contribute to technical requirements, program roadmaps, and industry best practices.

This is a designated Drug Testing Position.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Clearance. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required level of Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification within 9 months of assigned duties.
Must obtain and maintain the required Information Assurance Certification within six months of assignment of these duties.
The employee is required to file a Confidential Financial Disclosure report, upon appointment and will be required to file annually.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Develop user personas, use cases, and related value stream mapping of IT systems and intermediate users.
- Understanding of IT systems and software to evaluate new security methods, check if new projects are practical, and ensure that information systems work well with existing technology.
- Understanding of containerized application deployment and CI/CD pipeline architecture, applied across multiple customer development teams with varying technical needs.
Knowledge of DoD and Air Force policies and procedures, guidelines, directives and techniques related to software and technology system platforms
Advanced technical knowledge of software and other various digital technology systems (cyber, cloud, platform, data, and/or artificial intelligence).
Knowledge of technology systems analysis and applications software concepts, functions, techniques, and capabilities sufficient to evaluate new and emerging IT security methods and principles, the feasibility of proposed new systems and applications software projects; and to design, write, test, debug, and maintain information systems and applications software and ensure successful integration with existing and anticipated infrastructure in the database environment.
Ability to identify requirements for contracting and budget proposals for IT acquisitions.
Knowledge of DoD and Air Force policies and procedures, guidelines, directives and techniques related to software and technology system platforms.
