Job Description
  • Coordinates the efforts of various staff members for client projects
  • Assists operations and management in reviewing and approving methodology specific to the food and dietary supplement industries
  • Act as a liaison between operations, commercial and clients.
  • Compiles and communicates client requirements to the appropriate staff members
  • Develops project plans, study outlines and reports, including any alterations or client comments, ensures compliance with appropriate SOP's, and appropriate regulatory agency guidelines
  • Monitors progress and status of multiple projects
  • Works with the project teams to troubleshoot and solve development challenges as necessary
  • Reviews reports for scientific accuracy and completeness
  • Provides technical/scientific guidance and leadership to the project team as well as other areas of the company to ensure project completion
  • Reviews cost estimates for applications, new technology, and analyses.
  • Responsible for ensuring that any unforeseen circumstances that may affect the quality and integrity of the product or test data are identified and documented as they occur and corrective action is taken
  • Responds to unscheduled deadlines, client needs, crises, etc., without neglecting other duties.
  • Acts as a mentor to less-experienced scientific staff
  • Works on a wide range of problems where causal relationships are progressively difficult to establish and the use of creative thinking is required
  • Performs method development and other project work as needed
  • Investigates and onboard new technology
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Located onsite in Madison, WI lab
