Full Job Description
Role Scope
  • Lead facilities software automation: the systems that let software observe, decide, and act on physical plant.
  • Own the architecture from telemetry through decision to actuation, with safety and authorization designed in.
  • Set the engineering standards for a team shipping against live infrastructure.
  • Carry the hardest problems: closed-loop control paths, simulation, and rollout strategy across the fleet.
What We're Looking For
  • The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
  • You've led teams building software that controls or automates physical systems.
  • You've designed act-on-plant paths with interlocks, authorization, and audit.
  • You've taken automation from one site to many with a real rollout model.
  • Your architecture decisions balance speed with the blast radius of being wrong.
  • You still write the critical code.
  • Bonus: Controls background (PLC, BMS). Digital twin and simulation. Energy systems. Safety-critical software practices.

We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
