Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with 8-10 years of experience to lead Application Development (AD) and Application Maintenance & Support (AMS) in a Telecom domain environment. The role focuses on ASP.NET/C# applications integrated with Oracle and MS SQL databases. The candidate will lead transition from client teams, ensure application stability, and drive modernization using observability (Dynatrace) and AI-driven engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of telecom enterprise applications including enhancements, maintenance, and production support
• Lead knowledge transition from client teams including documentation, reverse engineering, and risk mitigation
• Perform impact analysis, solution design, and estimation for enhancements and defect fixes
• Provide L2/L3 support including incident triage, root cause analysis, and resolution
• Ensure SLA/KPI adherence for incident, change, and problem management
• Design, develop, and enhance ASP.NET (MVC/.NET Core) applications and REST APIs
• Manage deployments and hosting in IIS environments
• Implement monitoring using Dynatrace and log analytics using Splunk/ELK
• Develop dashboards, alerts, and observability metrics for system health
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
• Enforce code quality standards using SonarQube
• Mentor team and ensure knowledge transfer readiness
• Leverage AI tools for development optimization and intelligent monitoring
• Provide support and enhancements for legacy applications built using PowerBuilder and VB/VB.NET
• Lead legacy modernization initiatives and migration to .NET platforms
• Perform database optimization and tuning using MS SQL Server
• Ensure application stability on Windows-based environments
• Support integration between legacy systems and modern APIs/services
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and process optimization

• Dynatrace (APM, distributed tracing, monitoring)

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $76,336-$179,088 CAD.
