Full Job Description
Open Connect is Netflix's content delivery network, built to deliver a seamless experience to our members and internal teams alike. Within Open Connect Deployment, our Technical Infrastructure Delivery (TID) team designs and deploys the network infrastructure that powers Netflix's global offices and creative spaces, giving our business and creative teams the connectivity they need to do their best work. TID's mission is to drive the successful deployment and management of network infrastructure and low-voltage systems across Netflix's offices and creative spaces, supporting the strategic initiatives that expand Netflix's technological capabilities. The team sits at the intersection of business strategy, network engineering, infrastructure design, and construction, partnering with Open Connect functions, cross-functional tech teams, and internal stakeholders This role calls for someone who is detail-oriented and an effective multitasker, able to prioritize competing project demands, remain solution-oriented, and think dynamically. This person will be the driving strategic influence behind network infrastructure deployments that directly support creative and corporate business initiatives, managing internal teams' time and expertise for maximum impact and keeping tactical and strategic efforts aligned across the org. This individual will own the layer 1 structured cabling design and integration process end-to-end, translating TID's strategy into delivered, working infrastructure for each space. A successful candidate bridges the gap between our partners' needs and the resources and information required for successful network delivery and ongoing operational excellence. This person is a strong communicator who acts as the technical liaison on each project, connecting the technical teams that deploy and support our networks with the business stakeholders, partners, and end users who consume them. They work closely with our design and construction project teams throughout each build, serving as the handoff point between our organization and the teams we partner with and support. Qualifications: - 8+ years of technical project/program management experience, including deploying networks or other technical infrastructure solutions. - Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop a network deployment strategy that aligns with Netflix's broader organizational goals, weigh short-term delivery needs against long-term opportunity, and adjust plans as business priorities and resources shift. - Act as technical liaison and build strong relationships between engineers, business stakeholders, and technical leaders, partnering to deliver global network programs, including remediations, integrations, and new deployment models. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with sound judgment on when, how, and what to communicate to technical and non-technical partners alike - Lead end-to-end program and project management for network infrastructure deployments, scoping resource requirements, building schedules and budgets, coordinating logistics, and running progress checks to hold projects accountable against deliverables and deadlines. - Own low-voltage infrastructure and Layer 1 design and delivery, managing design and integration vendors through the full project lifecycle (schematic design, design development, construction documents, procurement, installation, commissioning, and documentation), reviewing vendor work against TID's basis of design, and evolving our guidelines based on tactical learnings. - Coordinate and hold accountable internal and external design and construction teams, including project managers, architects, general contractors, low-voltage design and integration vendors, mechanical/electrical contractors, and AV/security engineers. - AI-first approach to shape workflows, address complex work, and build repeatable patterns to scale resources. - Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and constantly changing environment. - Ability to work across time zones and travel as needed. Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $290,000.00 - $460,000.00. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off. Full-time salaried employees are immediately entitled to flexible time off. See more details about our Benefits here.
