Technical Consultant (PACS/Radiology Informatics)

Job Description

Your role:
  • Leading complex technical implementations and integrations from planning through deployment, delivering scalable solutions that align with customer business, technical, and clinical requirements. Applying deep technical expertise to solve complex challenges and ensure successful operational outcomes.
  • Developing and enhancing implementation methodologies, best practices, and service delivery standards to drive consistency, quality, and operational excellence. Establishing repeatable processes, maintain configuration integrity, and contribute to the organization's global knowledge base.
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and optimizing system performance through proactive analysis, health assessments, and risk mitigation strategies. Identifying potential issues early and implementing solutions that maximize reliability, stability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams, product leaders, and executive stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic business objectives. Influencing product improvements and service enhancements through collaboration, technical insight, and customer feedback.
  • Serving as a technical advisor by resolving high-complexity issues, delivering strategic recommendations, and communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences. Preparing executive-level presentations, reports, and documentation that support informed decision-making and long-term success.


You're the right fit if:
  • You've acquired 2+ years of experience in healthcare information technology (IT) or information systems (IS), complemented by hands-on experience implementing PACS solutions and/or supporting Radiology Informatics environments.
  • Your skills include:
    • Advanced knowledge of healthcare interface standards (HL7, DICOM, etc.) and experience troubleshooting DICOM workflow issues.
    • Strong understanding of cloud environments, Windows server infrastructure, networking concepts and SQL/Oracle database. Foundational AWS knowledge (EC2 and S3) is preferred.
    • Strong skills in root cause analysis, data interpretation, strategic planning, stakeholder management, risk assessment, and program execution.
  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in Health Science, Business or Engineering or equivalent field of study, or 6+ years of above-related experience in lieu of a degree. Certification in AWS Cert Path: Cloud Practitioner, highly desired.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You're an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.


How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

$90,000 to $143,000 (AL, AZ, AR, CO, FL, GA, HI, ID, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MN, MS, MO, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WV OR WY)

$95,000 to $150,000 (AK, DE, MD, NY, RI, or WA)

$101,000 to $160,000 (CA, CT, DC, MA, or NJ)

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
