Onsite 4 Days/WeekWe are seeking an experienced
Technical Business Analyst to join a fast-moving product team supporting a highly visible financial services program. This role will serve as a key liaison between business and technology teams, translating business needs into detailed technical requirements and supporting delivery from discovery through implementation and UAT.
Responsibilities- Partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, engineers, and QA teams to gather and translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Lead requirements elicitation, discovery sessions, process analysis, gap analysis, and requirements validation.
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, data definitions, business rules, and process flows.
- Analyze system interactions, data flows, integrations, and technical constraints to help define effective solutions.
- Use Jira, Visio, and Miro to manage requirements and document workflows and process flows.
- Manage requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle, including traceability, change impact analysis, issue resolution, and documentation.
- Support UAT, including developing test scenarios, reviewing results, triaging defects, and validating delivered functionality.
- Participate in cybersecurity-related reviews, including MFA considerations.
- Manage multiple priorities independently and adapt quickly as project needs change.
Required Qualifications- 7-10 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Business Analyst supporting technology and/or product development initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proven experience serving as a liaison between business and technology teams.
- Experience supporting projects involving the development and delivery of new products or applications.
- Strong requirements gathering, documentation, process modeling, and UAT experience.
- Technical understanding of system integrations, data flows, APIs/interfaces, and application dependencies.
- Experience with Jira and Visio and/or Miro.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight while managing multiple priorities.
- Financial services experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience using AI tools for communication or productivity is a plus.
