About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support an AI Solutions Product Owner in shaping, building, and delivering AI solutions across the enterprise. Sitting at the intersection of business, product, and engineering, you will translate business needs into clear requirements, help evaluate the quality of AI-driven features, and keep delivery on track. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for a curious problem-solver who is excited to work at the frontier of generative AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements & user stories - Partner with AI Solutions Product Owner to elicit, document, and prioritize business and technical requirements, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Backlog & Agile delivery - Help maintain and groom the product backlog and support sprint planning, refinement, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Process & workflow analysis - Map current- and future-state business processes and workflows impacted by AI solutions, identifying opportunities and gaps.
- Data analysis - Query and analyze data to inform product decisions, build simple reports, and measure adoption and impact against KPIs.
- AI solution evaluation - Support evaluation of AI/LLM model outputs for accuracy, quality, and business fit; help define and run test cases.
- User acceptance testing - Coordinate UAT, define scenarios, capture feedback, and validate that solutions meet requirements before release.
- Documentation - Produce and maintain functional specifications, feature documentation, workflows, and decision logs.
- Stakeholder communication - Act as a connective tissue between product, engineering, data science, and business teams, translating between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Delivery tracking - Track milestones, dependencies, and risks, and provide concise status updates to stakeholders.
- Responsible AI - Help embed data governance, privacy, and responsible AI considerations into how solutions are designed and delivered.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Approximately 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or a technical business analyst role.
- Strong skills in gathering and documenting requirements, including user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Proficient in analyzing and interpreting data and trends.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML and generative-AI concepts, such as large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and model evaluation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services or asset management.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and modern data pipelines.
- Exposure to Python or another scripting language for data analysis.
- Understanding of data governance, data privacy, and responsible AI frameworks.
- Prior experience supporting AI/ML or data product delivery.
For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$115,000.00 - USD$147,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
