Technical Business Analysis - Advisor I

About your role:

As a Technical Business Analyst within Issuer Solutions at Fiserv, you will support technology delivery initiatives by translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements for scalable and secure solutions. You will work across product, engineering, quality assurance, and business teams to improve delivery quality, support enterprise priorities, and help create outcomes that strengthen client experience and operational performance.

What you'll do:
  • Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation for technology solutions, system enhancements, and integrations.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define business requirements, process flows, data mappings, and business rules.
  • Create, refine, and manage Jira stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items aligned to delivery priorities.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, quality assurance, and business partners to support alignment across the full delivery lifecycle.
  • Facilitate requirement discussions, clarify open questions, and support decision-making across cross-functional teams.
  • Support system integration testing, defect triage, production issue analysis, and resolution activities as needed.
  • Maintain analysis documentation and contribute to standard methodologies that improve team delivery practices and documentation quality.

Experience you'll need to have:
  • 10+ years of experience in technical business analysis within complex technology environments, including requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation for enterprise solutions.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting technology delivery across cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, quality assurance, and business stakeholders.
  • 6+ years of experience working in Agile or Scrum environments using Jira to manage stories, backlog items, and delivery priorities.
  • 6+ years of experience analyzing system integrations, multi-system data flows, business rules, and end-to-end process impacts.
  • Experience translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and measurable functional requirements.
  • Strong ability to document requirements traceability, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data mappings using standard analysis practices.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, information systems, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.


Experience that would be great to have:
  • Experience in financial services, payments, or fintech environments.
  • Familiarity with requirements management, testing, or validation tools.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps practices, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and release support processes.
  • Experience mentoring junior analysts or supporting large-scale enterprise initiatives.


How you'll work:
  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

Salary Range
$100,000.00 - $165,600.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company's sole discretion.
