Technical Analyst - Application Engineer

Position Description:

Are you ready to expand your core software development, technical architecting skillset, and gain hands on experience with emerging digital technologies, including cloud services.
CGI is seeking a mid level technical resource to automate the processes related to CGI's Momentum financial management and procurement solution at a Government Agency in a high security environment. You will help our US Federal clients improve operational efficiency, while expanding your own skills in development of cutting edge automation solutions.
This position is located in Washington, DC.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test solutions to automate processes, activities, and tasks through enhanced workflow automation platforms.
Be involved in identifying ERP issues/solutions including code analysis, systems analysis, and operational workflows for ERP products used by this government agency.
Investigate business process outcomes for performance, accuracy, and effectiveness in order to influence enterprise product development and customer specific solutions.
Identify business reporting needs and requirements in order to design, develop, and test solutions to 4th Generation language reports, forms, and dashboards.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Due to the nature of the government contract , US Citizenship is required.
. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering, or related fields.
. Experience in Linux, SQL, Python, and either .NET/C# or Java.
. Past experience working as part of a collaborative team that practices Agile and/or DevOps throughout the SDLC.
. Experience across the SDLC, including requirements, design, development, testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support and maintenance.
. Must be an adaptable self starter and work with minimal supervision. Must be able to juggle multiple projects and organize time effectively.
. Ability to work well with business unit SME's, Business Analysts, vendors, and end users in cross functional teams.
. Track record of meeting or exceeding client expectations, personal performance expectations, and achieving project goals.
. Strong communication skills.
Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
. Experience with IBM Workload Automation, webMethods, webservices, AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS for Oracle, EFS, CloudWatch), Gitlab, Jira
. Experience with ERP and financial solutions highly preferred.
. Familiarity, certifications, and/or experience with RPA software tools (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) highly preferred.
. Familiarity, certifications, and/or experience with BI/data analytics techniques and tools

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $51,600.00 $121,100.00.
