Technical AnalystJob SummaryWe are seeking a Technical Analyst to bridge business requirements and technical delivery across enterprise applications and technology initiatives. The Technical Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, software engineers, QA, architecture, infrastructure, data teams, and vendors to analyze requirements, define solutions, support application integrations, and coordinate delivery through testing and production release.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience with enterprise systems, SDLC processes, Agile delivery, requirements analysis, data/API integration, and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate functional and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical documentation.
- Analyze existing applications, workflows, integrations, and data flows to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with development, QA, architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, and business teams throughout the SDLC.
- Support application integration initiatives involving APIs, data mappings, system interfaces, and cross-platform workflows.
- Create and maintain process flows, system documentation, data mappings, and solution documentation.
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, and delivery checkpoints in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Coordinate QA/UAT activities, defect resolution, release readiness, and production implementation.
- Track requirements, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Assist with technical analysis of application environments, authentication, databases, APIs, and cloud-hosted services.
- Analyze operational and application data using SQL and reporting/analytics tools.
- Work with stakeholders to identify process improvements and opportunities for automation.
- Prepare status updates, technical documentation, and presentations for business and technical leadership.
- Support production issues by coordinating analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution across appropriate technical teams.
- Ensure requirements and solutions align with SDLC governance, security, compliance, and operational support requirements.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in technical analysis, business systems analysis, application delivery, or a related technology role.
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
- Experience working across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with software engineering, QA, infrastructure, data, and business teams.
- Strong understanding of application integration, APIs, data flows, and system dependencies.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar work-management tools.
- Strong SQL and data-analysis skills.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language and business requirements into actionable technical requirements.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Azure-hosted applications and Microsoft technologies.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with CRM, workflow, financial, banking, or other enterprise business applications.
- Experience with API integration and data mapping.
- Experience supporting QA/UAT and production releases.
- Experience with technical governance, release management, and application modernization.
- Experience working in regulated or highly controlled environments.
