Full Job Description
About the role

You are the specialist for Canadian Payroll (including Time & Attendance and Time Off integration) and Canadian Benefits for Rippling's customers.

You are the definitive internal and external resource on how Canadian payroll connects with T&A and Time Off, and on Canadian benefits administration, including carrier connections, eligibility rules, and compliance requirements specific to Canada. You will support both Canadian TAMs and US-based TAMs who carry accounts with Canadian payroll.

What you will do

  • Payroll Configuration Audits - Review live customers' pay schedules, tax configurations, and T&A/Time Off connections to identify errors, inefficiencies, or compliance gaps and deliver clear remediation recommendations
  • Payroll + T&A/Time Off Enablement - Train customer admins on how Canadian payroll integrates with Time & Attendance and Time Off modules, and address common misconfigurations
  • Feedback loop to Product - Capture structured feedback on payroll and benefits performance, surfacing recurring themes and Canada-specific insights to Product and Engineering
  • Benefits Configuration & Optimisation - Review Canadian benefits setup, carrier connections, and eligibility rules to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Internal TAM/AM Enablement - Serve as an internal knowledge resource, upskilling TAMs and AMs on Canadian payroll and benefits.
  • Structured engagement delivery - Provide documented findings and next steps from every engagement and drive engagements initiated reactively by TAMs/AMs or proactively where risk or complexity warrants it
  • Training asset development - Build reusable training assets covering Canadian payroll best practices and benefits configuration, plus internal enablement materials for TAMs, AMs, and IMs

What you will need

  • 3+ years of SaaS experience in payroll process, consulting, implementation, or support
  • Deep working knowledge of Canadian payroll, including provincial tax and compliance requirements
  • NPI certification a must.
  • Added Plus: Experience with Canadian benefits administration.
  • Passion for helping customers and colleagues
  • Ruthless prioritization and time management
  • Ability to explain complex payroll and benefits scenarios in simple, clear written or verbal communications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to solve complex, interdependent configuration problems
  • Interest in actively working with product and engineering teams to feed Canada-specific product gaps into the roadmap
