Candidate Profile - JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
- 4+ years of substantive experience in technology transactions or related areas
- Experience drafting and negotiating licensing and technology agreements, advising on IP issues, and supporting M&A and financing transactions
- Experience advising startups and emerging companies on product development, manufacturing, and commercialization strategies
- Exposure to new technologies such as AI, blockchain, cloud computing, or digital media strongly preferred
- Subject-matter expertise in enterprise software, cloud services, outsourcing, AI, blockchain, fintech and payment systems, mobile applications, e-commerce, digital content, interactive entertainment and/or hardware
- Prior experience at an AmLaw 50 firm or comparable environment required
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, writing, and negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex transactions and collaborate effectively across teams
Key Responsibilities - Draft and negotiate a wide range of technology and commercial agreements, including licensing, SaaS, and outsourcing agreements
- Advise clients on
intellectual property, technology strategy, and regulatory considerations in transactional contexts - Provide strategic counsel on the development, commercialization, and distribution of emerging technologies
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions involving technology and intellectual property assets
- Counsel start-ups and established companies on product development, manufacturing, and launch strategies
- Collaborate with cross-practice teams to deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions
Compensation & Benefits - Competitive Compensation: Includes an expected annual salary range of $310,000 to $390,000, commensurate with experience
