Program Governance & Risk Management: Implement robust governance for complex, interconnected projects, proactively managing scope, budget, and timelines while mitigating risks on both waterfall and agile projects. Stakeholder Management & Communication: Expertly manage and communicate with diverse stakeholders, from engineers to executives, ensuring alignment and managing expectations. Business & Strategic Acumen: Connect program outcomes to tangible business value (e.g., ROI, TCO), thinking beyond project schedules to drive strategic customer goals. Technical Background: Possess solid cloud technology knowledge (infra, data, dev) to facilitate technical discussions, understand dependencies, and earn the trust of engineering teams. Key Responsibilities Program Governance & Risk Management Establish robust governance models for complex, multi-track technical initiatives, maintaining end-to-end accountability for scope, timelines, and budgets. Proactively identify, prioritize, and mitigate strategic and operational risks across concurrent Agile and Waterfall frameworks. Map technical cross-project dependencies, clear organizational blockers, and resolve critical path bottlenecks. Stakeholder Management & High-Impact Communication Build strong, trust-based relationships across a broad spectrum of stakeholders-ranging from hands-on software engineers to C-suite executives. Translate complex technical trade-offs, scope changes, and risks into clear, actionable executive summaries and transparent roadmap updates. Align cross-functional groups (Engineering, Product, Finance, Operations) around unified delivery expectations and business goals. Strategic Acumen & Business Value Realization Connect program milestones directly to bottom-line business outcomes, focusing on total cost of ownership (TCO), ROI, and customer strategy. Go beyond project schedules to evaluate market context, customer needs, and long-term organizational value. Guide prioritization decisions using value-driven metrics, ensuring engineering efforts continuously serve strategic business targets. Technical Leadership & Facilitation Partner closely with Cloud Infrastructure, Data Engineering, and Development teams to facilitate deep-dive architectural and delivery discussions.
