Job Summary

We are seeking a Tech Lead - TSYS / Credit Card Platform to provide technical leadership across credit card platform initiatives, including requirements analysis, data mapping, service integration, testing, implementation, and production support. The role will serve as a technical subject matter expert for TSYS and credit card vendor applications, working closely with application, development, testing, business, architecture, and project teams throughout the change and delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
• Identify downstream impacts, map data to services, recommend solutions, and provide alternative approaches to meet business and technical requirements.
• Work closely with application teams supporting credit card platforms throughout the complete change and project lifecycle.
• Review and approve designs, development activities, execution plans, and implementation plans for TSYS and credit card vendor applications across various environments.
• Provide immediate technical response and support for production program issues.
• Lead intake and engagement activities involving development, testing, and business teams impacted by platform changes.
• Lead technical activities and assessments for platform-related vendors.
• Provide platform technical SME support for QA, end-to-end, UAT, and other testing teams.
• Lead implementation of platform-led projects across testing and production environments.
• Manage and maintain change records associated with platform changes.
• Provide technical recommendations to Solution Architects, Project Managers, development teams, and project teams regarding platform data, services, and functionality.
• Support project managers and technical leads with planning and scheduling for platform-related project activities.
• Lead platform issue management for assigned changes and project teams.
• Participate as a key stakeholder in requirements sessions, system diagrams, and design reviews and provide recommendations for platform STO/LTO approval.
• Identify risks, raise risk awareness, and collaborate with teams to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead activities related to SES and data mapping for platform vendor changes.
• Lead and recommend data usage strategies for vendor services, including APIs and MQ.
• Analyze API requests and responses to support issue triage, troubleshooting, and investigations.
• Serve as Technical Lead for projects involving changes to platform vendors, including data, functionality, integrations, new products, enhancements, and new vendors.
• Provide technical leadership for projects that utilize existing platform services and data without introducing new data, functionality, or integrations.
• Lead projects involving APIs and real-time data, ensuring optimal, efficient, and cost-effective use of platform capabilities.
• Conduct independent analysis and assessments to resolve complex and strategic technical issues.
• Support strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze data and information to provide insights, recommendations, and solutions to strategic problems.
• Lead and implement technical initiatives across the platform.
• Review, evaluate, and derive requirements to ensure testability.
• Contribute to the design, development, execution, and maintenance of testing strategies and plans to support platform stability and efficiency.
• Recommend approaches to streamline and integrate technology processes and systems to improve organizational efficiency.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of technical and project documentation and follow established SDLC processes.
• Communicate overall deliverable quality and use metrics to support delivery decisions and identify areas of concern.

• Ensure development teams have appropriate unit testing practices in place and that core criteria are met before integrated testing.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, testing practices, and overall platform quality.

• Stay current with industry technical and business trends through professional development and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications
• 3-7 years of experience in an IT or business environment and/or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of TSYS applications, including TS2, TLP, Quick Remit, CentreSuite, APIs, MQ, and related platform technologies.
• Experience with TSYS Consumer and Commercial platforms.
• Strong TSYS and client integration knowledge.
• Understanding of SDLC, software testing concepts, testing methodologies, testing metrics, automated testing frameworks, and technical documentation standards.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues throughout the testing and delivery lifecycle.
• Ability to analyze data and use testing metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
