Position Overview

The Task Lead serves as the senior on-site contractor representative responsible for overseeing day-to-day contract execution, workforce management, quality control, and customer engagement activities in support of an enterprise-level Lessons Learned Program. This position requires an experienced leader capable of managing geographically dispersed personnel, coordinating complex operational requirements, and supporting senior Government stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive military staff experience, strong program management capabilities, and the ability to synchronize lessons learned activities across multiple locations while ensuring mission continuity and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

The Task Lead will:
  • Serve as the primary contractor representative and liaison with Government leadership and customer personnel.
  • Oversee execution of contract requirements while balancing cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day administration and operational oversight of assigned personnel and activities.
  • Coordinate and synchronize Lessons Learned processes across multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes for reports, briefings, summaries, and analytical products.
  • Manage administrative requirements including:
    • Travel coordination
    • Security processing
    • Country clearances
    • Deployment requirements
    • Personnel accountability


  • Develop executive-level briefings, monthly reports, and Lessons Learned summaries.
  • Analyze operational trends and organizational performance metrics to support leadership decision-making.
  • Support operational planning efforts, working groups, exercises, training events, and collaborative engagements.
  • Maintain continuity resources, stakeholder coordination tools, and mission tracking systems.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and responsive support.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to develop professional products and reports.


Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must possess:
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Minimum 5 years of Program Management experience serving as a Task Lead on a DoD contract within the last 12 months
  • Minimum 1 year of command experience as an O5
  • Minimum:
    • 3 years staff experience at a Combatant Command-level headquarters
      OR
    • 5 years staff experience supporting operational-level commands


  • Master's degree in:
    • Program Management
    • Business
    • National Defense
    • Homeland Security
    • Related field
      OR
    • Graduate of a U.S. Military War College issuing a master's certificate


  • Minimum 1 year experience using classified and unclassified collaborative communication systems such as:
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Zoom
    • Similar virtual collaboration platforms


Desired Qualifications

Preferred candidates will possess:
  • Experience supporting Lessons Learned programs or operational assessments
  • Prior military operational staff experience
  • Experience supporting operational planning, exercises, and organizational assessments
  • Strong executive communication and briefing skills
  • Experience leading multi-location teams
  • Strong analytical and organizational leadership capabilities


Work Environment
  • Full-time onsite position located in Tampa, FL
  • Domestic and international travel may be required
