Full Job Description
The Role As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you will play a key role in strengthening BGC's ability to proactively identify, engage, and attract top consulting talent. Working closely with the Recruiting team and hiring leaders, you will build high-quality talent pipelines that support both immediate hiring needs and longer-term growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sourcing professional who thrives in a consultative environment and brings a strategic lens to identifying talent in competitive markets. Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand technical and role requirements, identify ideal candidate profiles, develop job postings, and identify role specific sourcing strategies
  • Partner with the Recruiting team on sourcing strategies to identify and engage talent through multiple channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks and industry communities; support BGC's referral strategies and leverage internal networks
  • Produce timely, qualified shortlists for priority roles while building and maintaining pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Complete initial candidate screens to confirm technical fit, interest, and availability prior to handoff to hiring leads and interview panels
  • Support candidate selection and offer processes, ensuring smooth coordination, clear communication, and timely progression through the hiring process
  • Maintain a consistently high standard of candidate communication and transparency
  • Manage recruiting administration including job posting, job board management, interview scheduling, documentation, candidate communications, candidate tracking recruiting process management, and recruitment agency contracts.
  • Oversee the work of a Talent Acquisition Coordinator who supports TA administration and junior recruiting functions.
Position Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in talent sourcing or recruitment, ideally within professional services, consulting, or other knowledge-based industries
  • Experience sourcing for specialized technical roles (e.g., engineering, geoscience, software, or other consulting disciplines)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively with leaders
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Curiosity and adaptability with emerging sourcing technologies, tools, and market trends
  • Experience sourcing talent within Canada and the U.S., and ideally across global talent markets (including engaging candidates internationally), is considered an asset
  • French or Spanish language proficiency is considered an asset
  • Experience mentoring junior team members is preferred.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma preferred.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 CAD per annum, however base pay will be commensurate with job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. BGC's compensation package also includes a training allowance and a comprehensive medical and dental plan.
