Position Overview

The Autodesk Talent organization is seeking a Process Optimization Manager to lead Talent-wide process standardization initiatives including technology and AI adoption, enablement readiness, and measurable value realization across Talent workflows. Reporting to the Talent Chief of Staff, you will work across the Talent organization-including talent acquisition, talent development, and global mobility-and partner closely with People Insights & Solution Design (PISD), Enterprise Systems (ESE), Talent Operations, Trust, Privacy, Procurement, Finance, and functional owners. This role will ensure that our processes support our global Talent strategy at scale and that tools and AI-enabled capabilities are embedded into how work gets done and continually optimized to improve efficiency, quality, and the experience of candidates, employees, managers, and Talent practitioners.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Own Talent-wide process optimization and standardization, with cross-Talent accountability where workflows, tools, data, or user experiences intersect
  • Assess current-state processes, identify friction, duplication, control gaps, and improvement opportunities, and design scalable future-state workflows, standards, handoffs, and operating practices
  • Translate Talent business needs into clear requirements, use cases, process impacts, and adoption priorities for PISD, ESE, vendors, and other delivery partners; provide business-side feedback on technology roadmaps and technical delivery
  • Establish process documentation standards and maintain an accessible source of truth for approved workflows, roles, decision rights, controls, and standard use cases
  • Own tool engagement and adoption routines, including usage expectations, stakeholder reinforcement, feedback loops, and actions informed by utilization data
  • Define and track value-realization measures including adoption, efficiency, quality, process adherence, user experience, and business impact
  • Partner with People Analytics, PISD, and tool owners to obtain and interpret usage and process data, identify underutilization, or experience gaps, and recommend corrective actions
  • Drive responsible adoption of AI-enabled ways of working within Talent processes, aligned to the central PPL AI roadmap, enterprise governance, privacy, security, and appropriate use of employee and candidate data
  • Define governance model for tools, including user eligibility, approval paths, onboarding and offboarding standards, periodic reviews, and audit requirements, coordinate with system administrators, Talent Operations and Trust teams
  • Coordinate business inputs for privacy impact assessments, data retention and deletion processes, procurement activities, purchase orders, vendor renewals, and deprecation decisions
  • Partner with enablement, change management, and communications teams to translate process and tool standards into launch readiness, training, playbooks, communications, reinforcement, and sustained behavior change
  • Represent the voice of candidates, employees, managers, recruiters, and Talent practitioners to improve end-to-end experiences and reduce friction across processes and handoffs
  • Stay current on process excellence, HR technology, AI adoption, change enablement, and employee experience practices to inform continuous improvement and innovation
  • Global travel may be required

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of experience in process optimization, business operations, operational excellence, change enablement, HR or Talent operations, technology adoption, or related discipline in a complex enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end process improvement and standardization initiatives across multiple functions, regions, or stakeholder groups
  • Strong ability to map current-state and future-state processes, clarify roles and decision rights, identify root causes, and translate findings into scalable operating standards
  • Experience driving adoption and measurable value from enterprise technology, digital tools, automation, or AI-enabled workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use operational, usage, and experience data to identify opportunities, prioritize actions, and measure outcomes
  • Experience translating business needs into clear requirements, use cases, process impacts, and implementation or enablement needs for technical, data, and vendor partners
  • Working knowledge of change management and enablement practices, including stakeholder analysis, readiness, communications, training, reinforcement, and feedback loops
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels without direct authority
  • Ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, establish governance, and drive clarity and follow-through in a global, matrixed organization
  • Familiarity with data privacy, access controls, records retention, security, and responsible AI considerations relevant to employee and candidate processes

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, onboarding, global mobility, or broader HR operations
  • Experience with enterprise HR and Talent platforms, such as Workday, Eightfold, SAP SuccessFactors, learning management systems, talent marketplaces, recruiting technologies, or workforce intelligence tools
  • Experience applying Agile to process and optimization and other improvement practices like Lean, Six Sigma, business process management, service design, or human-centered design methods
  • Experience defining adoption, utilization, process adherence, efficiency, quality, and value-realization metrics for technology or process investments
