Talent Development Manager @ Human ResourcesPrimary Purpose: - Support the district's educator pipeline initiatives through the coordination and implementation of talent development programs, including the Teacher Apprentice Program and Student Teacher Program, and support activities associated with the Associate Teacher Program. Collaborate with campuses, certification providers, and higher education partners to promote participant success and strengthen the district's future teacher workforce.
Qualifications: Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of educator preparation pathways and teacher certification requirements
- Knowledge of apprenticeship and student teaching programs preferred
- Excellent collaborative teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to use personal computer and software programs to collect, report, and present data
- Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners
- Excellent public relations, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
- Campus/District leadership experience preferred
- At least three (3) years of experience in education, workforce development, talent development, recruitment, educator preparation programs, or related areas
Major Responsibilities and Duties: - Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Teacher Apprentice Program.
- Coordinate student teacher placement, onboarding, and support activities.
- Support activities associated with the Associate Teacher Program.
- Facilitate orientation sessions, workshops, and training opportunities for participants.
- Maintain regular communication with participants, campuses, certification providers, and university partners.
- Track participant progress toward certification and program completion.
- Assist with mentor assignments and support activities.
- Explain program requirements, expectations, and available supports to participants.
- Organize and attend job fairs, recruitment events, and informational sessions to promote educator pipeline programs and strengthen candidate recruitment efforts.
- Support efforts to identify and address participant needs and challenges.
- Assist participants in accessing district resources and professional learning opportunities.
- Support workforce development initiatives related to teacher apprentices and student teachers.
Employment: - Develop onboarding programs and processes for newly hired apprentices and student teachers.
- Support efforts to work with principals and other administrators to assess apprenticeship strengths, needs and/or struggles and intervene with appropriate measures and support.
- Maintain a system for new apprentices to acquire appropriate information, support, and training necessary for success in the program.
- Take a proactive role in identifying and responding to issues; work in collaboration with district leadership to ensure preemptive and effective employee communications.
Records and Reports - Maintain participant records, files, and documentation.
- Track certification progress, participation, and program completion data.
- Maintain support materials, data, evaluations, records, and documentation required for program implementation and reporting.
- Assist in maintaining participant case management records.
- Prepare reports and summaries regarding program implementation and outcomes.
- Research and comply with policies and procedures established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy.

2026-2027 Salary Range Min. $92,234 Mid. $108,294 Max. $124,357 (Based on previous experience)
Salaries are determined by the number of completed and eligible years of service at an accredited school.
Salary is based on 235 days. If working less than 235 days, the salary will be less.
