About this roleFaire is building an AI-enabled talent organization, hiring the people shaping the future of personalized commerce for retailers and brands around the world. We're looking for a Talent Brand Manager to build our employer value proposition and turn it into one cohesive talent brand strategy across all of our digital surfaces: LinkedIn, our careers site, social, Glassdoor, and increasingly, the AI tools candidates now use to research and compare offers.
This is a hands-on, builder role. You'll shape Faire's EVP, then build the systems that carry it to our employees, like building AI tools that make it easy for employees to tell their own stories and put our leaders' voices in front of candidates. You will also develop an AEO strategy that ensures Faire shows up as the clear, authentic answer when candidates ask LLMs to learn more about the company and compare offers. You'll give recruiters that same enablement, arming them with the narrative and objection-handling they need to authentically represent Faire in the market.
You'll report to Jenny Talwar, Head of Talent, and be based in San Francisco.
What you'll do - Architect our employer value proposition: Define a compelling "why Faire, why now" narrative tailored for key hiring areas, beginning with our Engineering, Product, Design, and Data teams. Highlighting the broad range of backgrounds of the retailers and brands we serve, so the workforce we build increasingly reflects the diversity and vibrancy of our customers.
- Create a unified digital footprint: Orchestrate high-impact campaigns across LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and our careers site to ensure a consistent talent brand backed by measurable performance indicators.
- Establish Answer Engine Optimization: Develop an AEO framework to ensure Faire's culture and opportunities are accurately and prominently represented within LLMs.
- Champion the talent brand identity: Act as a steward for our voice, ensuring every job description and candidate touchpoint aligns perfectly with Faire's established brand guidelines.
- Scalable storytelling: Establish a repeatable engine for surfacing authentic stories from our leaders and employees that showcase our values, incredible internal mobility stories, and give a real glimpse into life at Faire.
- Empower the front line: Create a comprehensive self-serve toolkit for recruiters and hiring managers, including audience-specific positioning and narrative-driven objection handling.
- Build AI-powered enablers: Launch internal tools that leverage AI to help every Faire employee transform their personal experiences into polished, social-ready content.
- Measure and iterate: Rigorously track candidate sentiment and conversion data to evaluate the effectiveness of our talent brand investments on hiring success.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Marketing and Comms partners to ensure a seamless integration of our employer brand across the business.
Qualifications- 5+ years building employer brand, talent marketing, or recruitment marketing programs, ideally from the ground up
- Experience running a cohesive brand strategy across owned and earned digital channels: careers site, LinkedIn, social, and Glassdoor
- Comfortable building self-serve, custom AI tools for individual and team use, and applying them to drive productivity and scale
- Understands how AI-driven search and answer engines (AEO/GEO) shape how a brand's content surfaces, and wants to build that muscle for talent brand
- Exceptional writer and editor, able to turn complex, cross-functional work into a story people remember
- Experience building recruiter enablement materials, including objection-handling content
- Uses data (candidate feedback, funnel metrics, brand perception) to prioritize what to build and prove it worked
- Strong cross-functional partner, with experience working across Recruiting, Marketing, Comms, and People teams to ship projects
