Full Job Description
You9ll join our global PX team, based in Vancouver and reporting to our Director of People Experience in Auckland. You9ll execute talent strategy and own full-cycle recruitment across all four of our markets, NZ, AU, CA and the US, partnering directly with hiring leaders wherever they sit. You9ll build genuine talent pipelines rather than reactive hiring: always recruiting, always meeting passive candidates, always reading the local market.

That means creating moments where our leaders connect with future talent, building a network you can call on long before a role exists, and knowing who9s good in North America before anyone asks you to find them. Beyond recruitment, you9ll bring PX closer to the ground in North America, the person our Vancouver, Toronto and Dallas teams turn to for both hiring and the day-to-day people experience questions that come up in a growing company.

This is a role where your work is visible and your relationships are yours to build. You9ll drive the pipelines and the presence on the ground in North America, in close partnership with our Director of People Experience.

Key responsibilities

Build pipelines and keep a constant pulse on the market
    • Use AI and modern sourcing tools to move faster and reach better people. That means smarter sourcing, faster research on candidates and markets, and cutting the manual work that slows hiring down, so more of your time goes into the conversations that actually matter.
    • Always be building relationships, whether or not a role exists right now. Passive candidates, future hires, people worth knowing.
    • Own full-cycle recruitment for roles across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Product and Operations regardless of which of our four markets the role sits in.
    • Source directly. You own the search end to end, building relationships rather than waiting for an agency to bring you a shortlist.
    • Where agencies are still part of the mix, you own that relationship: briefing, fee negotiation, performance.

Grow our story in North America
    • Drive employer brand activation in the region, anchored in what our own people actually say about working here: real impact on real construction projects, autonomy to do the work your way, a product people are proud of, and a growth trajectory that9s genuinely there if you want it.
    • Create moments where our leaders connect with future talent, not just current candidates.
    • Build out our presence in the region before we9re hiring.

Shape how we hire globally
    • Partner with our Director of People Experience to build a TA playbook that actually reflects how hiring works differently in Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Vancouver and Dallas.
    • Bring market intelligence back into the business: what candidates want, what9s realistic to offer, where they9re coming from, in every region you touch.

Know the market
    • Maintain a sharp, current view of construction tech and SaaS talent markets across NZ, AU, CA and the US: who9s hiring, what they9re offering people, where the best stories and the best people are.
    • Share what you9re seeing in the market on compensation and candidate expectations across all four regions, so offer decisions are grounded in current intelligence

Be PX on the ground in North America
    • You9re the PX presence for Timescapes9 culture and values in Vancouver, Toronto and Dallas.
    • Support the PX work that comes up day to day: onboarding, employee questions, the things that need a person in the room or close enough to it

Requirements
  • 5+ years across talent acquisition in a high-growth SaaS or tech company.
  • A track record of earning trust with senior leaders and shaping their thinking on talent.
  • Real experience recruiting across more than one country. You know employment norms differ and you don9t need someone to explain why that matters.
  • You source using modern AI tools as a default You don9t wait for an agency to hand you a shortlist, and you don9t wait for a role to open before you start building relationships.
  • Comfortable being the PX presence on the ground in North America, with a remote reporting line into a different country and time zone.
  • Workable or similar ATS experience is a plus.
  • You care about culture and PX, not just filling seats.

Benefits

Life at Timescapes

Our team tells us what they value most: the people, the product, the trust, and the opportunity to do work that actually matters. We have built that culture deliberately and we look for it in every hire we make.

We take care of our people. That means generous health, dental and vision coverage, 20 days leave including a full company Christmas shutdown, parental leave top-up to 16 weeks, wellbeing support through My Sparrow, and a real commitment to your learning and development.

If you are looking for a place where your work ships into the real world, where the team is small enough that your contributions matter, and where the mission is clear, we would love to hear from you.
