Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is an integral part of Safeguard Law Group's Recruiting team and will be responsible for supporting lateral associate recruitment by overseeing application processing, interview logistics, and candidate communications, while maintaining records, overseeing vendor relationships, and developing recruitment strategies.

The ideal candidate is one who has experience with full-cycle attorney recruitment and utilizing recruitment strategies and methods. This is a perfect opportunity for a hard worker who is interested in a friendly yet fast-paced environment.

Candidates must have in-house attorney recruitment experience to be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working with hiring managers and the Head of HR to develop and execute national hiring plans and processes for lateral attorney hiring needs
  • Driving sourcing efforts, interviewing, and hiring processes for all Attorney recruitment positions.
  • Review candidate materials and conduct initial screening conversations to assess qualifications, career interests, compensation expectations, and overall alignment. Schedule interviews with hiring manager and conduct verbal offer process.
  • Exploring innovative avenues and means for promoting our career opportunities. Experience coordinating complex recruiting searches, managing candidate pipelines, and balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compiling market data and analyzing internal hiring and compensation trends.
  • Under direction of Head of HR, engage with search firms on a national and local basis, identifying and promoting key partnerships to satisfy acute and perennial needs and monitoring search firm fee agreement execution and compliance.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the legal market and trends. Stay informed of legal recruiting trends, sourcing techniques and technology

  • MUST HAVE extensive experience with in-house attorney recruiting
  • Must have initiative, ability to multitask and prioritize under tight deadlines.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle high volume, and be a team player.
  • Must exhibit good judgment and be detail oriented.
  • A four-year college degree is required.
  • 4+ years of legal recruiting experience, including 2-3 years of significant lateral experience, preferably in a large, national or international law firm environment.
  • Experience with an applicant tracking software is preferred
