Full Job Description
About the Role

Posh is looking for a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to own and elevate our recruiting function. This is a unique opportunity to shape the hiring strategy in a high-growth environment while helping us attract top talent to scale our team effectively.

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the entire recruitment process, ensuring a seamless candidate experience, and helping us build a strong employer brand. You'll work closely with hiring managers, refine hiring strategies, and drive full-cycle recruiting efforts to support our growing team. This contract position has the potential to convert into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

This role begins as a 3-month contract engagement, fully remote within the United States, with the intent to convert to a full-time position based on performance and continued business need. Compensation is structured at a $100,000 - $120,000 annualized rate, depending on experience; the contract-period rate will be prorated accordingly. Conversion timing and terms will be confirmed with the hiring manager and People team prior to offer.

What You'll Do
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for assigned reqs, intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer, and close.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to clarify role scope and must-have vs. learnable requirements according to business needs and company fit.
  • Build and manage healthy, diverse candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, referrals, and creative channels.
  • Keep candidates warm and informed at every stage; treat scheduling delays as a risk to the candidate experience and act on them daily. Nothingw falls through the cracks.
  • Manage and optimize our applicant tracking system (ATS) to track candidate progress and report on recruiting metrics.
  • Track, analyze and report on key recruiting performance indicators, including:
    • Speed: time to fill, time to hire, actual vs. target hire date
    • Conversion: offer acceptance rate
    • Quality: Number of qualified applicants/screens per role, net hiring score (quality assessment of hires)
    • Experience: Candidate satisfaction, hiring manager satisfaction
  • Continuously improve hiring process rigor: documentation hygiene in Ashby, structured debriefs, and consistent use of hiring manager and candidate resources.
  • Represent the Posh brand and pitch accurately and compellingly to every candidate, tailoring the story to the role and the audience.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally from an in-house / startup environment.
  • Experience recruiting across all functions; strong technical focus a plus.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-moving, early-stage company.
  • Hands-on experience owning and improving an ATS (Ashby experience a plus) and TA tech stack.
  • Intellectual curiosity and adaptability, you are comfortable going deep on new domains quickly as our product and hiring needs evolve.
  • Ownership and urgency, you are a scrappy self-starter who doesn't need close management.
