Title: Talent Acquisition / Operations Specialist

Location: Syosset, NY 11791 (on-site)

Position Overview:

We are a high-performing, fast-paced business unit within an agile and growing business. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition / Operations Specialist to identify, attract, and source top-tier technology talent. In this role, you will own the full recruitment lifecycle for complex technical positions. You must possess a deep understanding of modern technology stacks and have a proven track record of building robust pipelines of passive IT professionals. This role requires technical IT literacy, relationship management, and business operations skills. While the business unit is in its nascent stage, the team is driven by a strong vision and ambitious goals.

Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle for positions - including using the applicant tracking system to post positions, review applications, and track recruitment stages.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques (Boolean search, GitHub, Stack Overflow, LinkedIn Recruiter) to engage passive technical talent.
  • Build and maintain proactive pipelines for high-demand skill sets to reduce time-to-hire.
  • Map target companies, track industry layoffs/hiring trends, and analyze competitor talent pools.
  • Validate technical information on candidate resumes, and conduct rigorous phone screens to assess technical competencies, project experience, and cultural alignment.
  • Vet candidates for compensation expectations, remote/on-site preferences, and visa sponsorship needs.
  • ct as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring timely feedback and highly professional experience.
  • Maintain continuous engagement with submitted candidates awaiting client interviews.
  • Verify candidate availability, ongoing interest, and competing offers regularly.
  • Prevent candidate drop-off during extended client hiring cycles.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with deployed resources to ensure high retention rates.
  • Translate complex client technical needs into actionable insights for the recruitment team.
  • Ensure all on-site resources comply with client security, background checks, and operational protocols.
  • ssist with implementation and administration of policies and programs related to the management of all personnel to ensure the maintenance of a positive and productive employment environment.
  • Develop and implement training programs for team members
  • Work with Program Manager for registrations and operations management. Prepare agreements as required.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols. Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company's internal capacity.
  • Collaborate with management to align goals with business initiatives and partner with hiring managers and account managers on staffing needs
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Experience, Skills and Qualification:
  • Minimum 5+ years of dedicated IT recruitment, IT account management, or technical staffing management experience within an agency or fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel etc., and strong computer skills are required.
  • Proactive and able to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with G-Suite.
  • Strong conceptual understanding of software development lifecycles, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
  • Familiarity with modern technology frameworks, architectures, and development methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience navigating Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g. Job Diva) and CRM platforms.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to build immediate rapport with highly technical individuals.
  • Strong conflict-resolution, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with business management on budgeting, contract terms, or account metrics.
