Job Description:

Miller Electric and ITW Welding are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and executing strategic recruitment initiatives that make a real impact on the business. You'll lead proactive talent sourcing, elevate the candidate experience, and build strong, sustainable talent pipelines. Collaborating across multiple functions, you will influence hiring strategies, partner with business leaders and HR, and help attract top-tier, experienced talent to drive organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategy & Business Partnership
  • Partner with business leaders and HR to align hiring strategies with organizational goals.
  • Leverage recruitment analytics and key metrics to improve quality of hire, diversity, and time-to-fill.
  • Coach hiring managers on recruitment best practices and inclusive hiring strategies.
  • Enhance the company's employment brand to attract top, diverse talent.


Full-Cycle Recruitment & Process Excellence
  • End-to-end recruitment, including intake meetings, job descriptions, sourcing, interviews, partnering with HR for offers, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies targeting active and passive candidates.
  • Partner cross-functionally to enhance and standardize existing interview frameworks, assessments, and reporting metrics, driving consistency and effectiveness across ITW Welding North America.
  • Implement standardized interview frameworks, assessments, and reporting metrics.
  • Optimize recruitment processes to improve efficiency, candidate experience, and quality of hire.
  • Leverage social media, job boards, and digital platforms to enhance the employment brand.


Partnerships & Diversity Outreach
  • Manage and optimize relationships with external recruitment partners, agencies, and industry networks.
  • Partner with professional associations and community organizations to support diversity recruitment.
  • Build relationships with professional organizations and community partners to broaden outreach and inclusion efforts.


What you need to do to be successful in this role:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of recruiting practices, processes and procedures including relevant Federal and State laws pertaining to recruitment and employment
  • Proven experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), Microsoft Office Suite, and social media recruiting.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% with flexibility during peak recruitment periods.


Minimum Education and Experience:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition or HR, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or corporate environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business or related field required.
