Note: This role will need to work onsite, in Bay AreaAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Talent Acquisition professional to lead talent acquisition efforts for our US Technology & Innovation expansion project.
This role will be responsible for building and scaling our US R&D talent ecosystem while serving as a strategic talent partner to engineering and technology leaders globally. Beyond supporting the growth of our US R&D center, you will play a key role in identifying, attracting, and engaging top-tier US technology talent that can contribute to our global business and innovation agenda.
You will act as a market intelligence partner, talent strategist, and trusted advisor, helping the business access some of the world's most competitive technology talent markets.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild the US Talent Engine- Lead talent acquisition efforts for the US R&D center, supporting the growth of Software Engineering, AI, Data, Infrastructure, Security, Product, Blockchain, and Trading Technology organizations, including low-latency systems, exchange infrastructure, and quantitative technology teams.
- Develop proactive talent attraction strategies targeting top technology talent across leading technology companies, fintechs, AI organizations, quantitative trading firms, and research communities.
- Build long-term talent pipelines and networks across key US technology hubs.
- Identify opportunities to leverage US talent to strengthen global technology and innovation capabilities.
Strategic Talent Partnership- Partner closely with global technology leaders, hiring managers, and executives to understand workforce plans and critical hiring priorities.
- Act as a trusted advisor on talent availability, hiring strategy, market competitiveness, and organizational growth.
- Influence hiring decisions through data, market intelligence, and talent insights.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide consultative talent solutions to support business objectives.
Talent Market Intelligence- Provide ongoing intelligence on US technology talent trends, compensation benchmarks, competitor hiring activity, and emerging talent pools.
- Conduct talent mapping across target companies and high-caliber engineering communities.
- Develop insights that support hiring decisions, workforce planning, and organizational growth.
Executive & Niche Hiring- Lead searches for senior, niche, and business-critical technology positions.
- Drive direct sourcing and executive search initiatives for highly competitive talent segments.
- Maintain a high bar for talent quality, assessment rigor, and candidate experience.
Hiring Excellence & Delivery- Deliver hiring outcomes aligned with business priorities, hiring targets, and recruitment SLAs.
- Manage multiple strategic searches simultaneously while maintaining quality, speed, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Continuously improve hiring effectiveness, talent acquisition processes, and candidate experience.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 6+ years of recruitment experience, either from a high-performing in-house Talent Acquisition team or a leading recruitment/search firm.
- Proven experience recruiting technology talent, including Software Engineering, AI/ML, Data, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Product, Blockchain, and Trading Technology functions.
- Experience hiring within technology, fintech, digital platforms, financial services, quantitative trading, HFT, cryptocurrency, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the US technology talent market and key talent ecosystems.
- Demonstrated success in executive search, direct sourcing, talent mapping, and market intelligence.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and act as a trusted talent advisor.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate talent insights into hiring strategies and business recommendations.
- Experience supporting global hiring initiatives and working across multiple time zones.
- Proactive, resilient, highly resourceful, and passionate about talent acquisition.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin with excellent verbal and written communication skills for global stakeholder management purpose.
