Moog's Corporate Group is hiring a Talent Acquisition Division Lead, supporting our Defense Group!

As the Talent Acquisition Division Lead for Defense, you will be responsible for executing workforce and talent acquisition (TA) strategies that support business growth and organizational success within the Defense division of the Space and Defense Group (SDG). You will lead a team of recruiters, partner closely with business leaders, Strategic HRBP, and ensure delivery of high-quality hiring outcomes across critical talent segments.

We are looking for you to be a strategic talent advisor, collaborative leader, and results-oriented recruiting professional with a proven ability to drive hiring excellence, develop teams, and deliver business results. Working closely with leaders across their assigned SDG division, you will align talent acquisition efforts to workforce demands, critical skills needs, and long-term business objectives.

You will have a hybrid work schedule at our facility in East Aurora, NY or Salt Lake City, UT.

To be considered for the Talent Acquisition Division Lead role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Operations, Workforce Planning, Human Resources, or a related talent management function.
  • Experience partnering with senior business leaders and influencing hiring decisions.
  • Proven ability to drive recruiting performance through data, talent market intelligence, and process improvement.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills with a track record of building high-performing teams preferred.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and consulting capabilities.
  • Ability to influence across functions and build credibility at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.


As the Talent Acquisition Division Lead, you will:
  • Execute workforce planning strategies and translate hiring forecasts into actionable recruiting plans aligned to business objectives.
  • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to develop hiring strategies, address workforce challenges, and deliver talent solutions.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for critical and future skill needs while leading recruitment efforts for business-critical and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Research and leverage talent market intelligence, labor market trends, and competitive insights to inform hiring decisions and workforce strategies.
  • Lead, coach, and develop recruiters, fostering a culture of accountability and performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish tactical and operational recruiting plans, prioritize resources, and ensure delivery against hiring commitments.
  • Champion process improvements, organizational change initiatives, and recruiting best practices that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and candidate experience.
  • Own hiring performance metrics, stakeholder satisfaction, and recruiting outcomes, delivering measurable business impact through Talent Acquisition.

Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo, NY $105,000.00-$140,000.00 Annually
