Full Job Description
TAMKO Building Products LLC is seeking a Systems Integrator to support our company's strategic mission and initiatives by designing, developing, and implementing integrations across a wide variety of operational and enterprise systems. The position location is flexible with a mix of in-office time, site visits, and time at your home office. TAMKO prefers the incumbent live within 50 miles of a primary TAMKO manufacturing or corporate facility: Joplin, Missouri; Phillipsburg, Kansas; Dallas, Texas; Tuscaloosa, Alabama; or Frederick, Maryland.

  • Conduct business with honesty and integrity.
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between plant-floor systems, enterprise applications, and data stores.
  • Meet with stakeholders to determine integration requirements and data exchange needs.
  • Translate business and operational requirements into integration designs and flows.
  • Provide feasibility assessments and time estimates for new automation requests
  • Design error handling and recovery strategies for robust, low-maintenance integration workflows
  • Monitor industry developments, lifecycle status, and obsolescence of technologies and communicate impacts as appropriate.
  • Support manufacturing facilities by assisting with troubleshooting and resolution of automation issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and support company strategic initiatives and organizational change efforts.
  • Participate in professional development, continuous learning, and initiatives that promote team and cultural health.
  • Travel to TAMKO manufacturing facilities and corporate offices up to 30% the first year and up to 20% once established in the role.


Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems; or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with automation and system integrations.
  • Experience with manufacturing control systems and SCADA technologies - Siemens and AVEVA System Platform, respectively.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft.NET/C#, Microsoft SQL, and REST API.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (preferable SAP).
  • Good English communication skills

Other Preferred Qualifications
  • Statistical analysis skills - SPC, regression, capability analysis both using historical data and intentional experimentation
  • Familiarity with modern AI tools
  • Experience integrating a variety of devices - including but not limited to lab instrumentation devices
  • Knowledge of industrial networking and field application
