Court Services is seeking a Systems Integrator 1 to support the maintenance, integration, and evolution of our technical systems. This role blends legacy system support, integration development, and data migration work, requiring a versatile developer comfortable working across a broad technology stack - from scripting and application development to database management and system integrations, within a public sector environment.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Establishes and maintains business relationships with clients to discuss/assess clients needs.
  • Prepares project charter, statements of work and project plans.
  • Identifies risks and prepares action plans to mitigate.
  • Conducts or leads team in delivery of projects or work packages.
  • Liaises and co-ordinates with internal & external groups on accomplishment of deliverables.
  • Prepares and presents status report and variance explanation for projects or work packages.
  • Prepares findings & "Lessons Learned" from post-implementation project reviews.
  • Assesses, analyzes, evaluates and recommends process & policy alternatives for projects & work packages.
  • Redesigns business principles, processes, policies and standards by recommending best practices and improvements to current processes.
  • Determines business requirements and builds consensus amongst clients.
  • Prepares Business Plans, Gap Analysis, Logical Data Models and Design documents for proposed solutions that leverage information & technology as part of the solution.
  • Provides input to Data Management teams on transformation of clients' business requirements.
  • Recommends improvements to current methodology, process, standards, and policies.
  • Assists staff in understanding of business processes and logic.
  • Liaises with staff in development of test strategy, test cases & test scripts for system, performance, usability and acceptance testing of system solutions developed.
  • Leads team to draft implementation & rollout strategies and plans.
  • Conducts walk-through of deliverables to identify potential problems.
  • Prepares training material and documentation for use by clients and staff.
  • Conducts training for client and their staff.
  • Collaborates with clients on "Go / No Go" cut-over decisions e.g. roll-outs.

Key Qualifications:
  1. Considerable experience working in systems integration, application development, or a related technical role.
  2. Experience developing or integrating applications using Java, JavaScript, and HTML.
  3. Experience working with Oracle databases and ETL, including writing SQL queries and stored procedures and supporting data integration.
  4. Experience with Microsoft Access, including database design, development, data transformation, and data migration.
  5. Experience with Visual Basic, VBA macros, PowerShell, Windows batch scripting, and VBScript for application development, automation, data processing, or systems support.
  6. Experience with Microsoft 365 SharePoint and Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric.

You Must Also Have:
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification considered an asset
  • Experience working with justice, legal, or court systems and technology considered an asset.
  • ITIL certification or knowledge of ITIL principles and practices considered an asset.
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems and develop practical solutions across legacy and modern technology environments.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow platform concepts, including general understanding of its functionality and use in an enterprise environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including explaining technical concepts, gathering information, facilitating discussions, and building understanding.
  • Experience working in or with government or public-sector organizations, including familiarity with government data retention, information management, privacy, security, and compliance requirements considered an asset
