Full Job Description
The Systems Integration/Test Engineering Manager manages Mechancial Test Operations team with respect to ATLO GPS IIIF SV single line flow activities, production planning, and floor support. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Provides operational management and technical leadership for entire mechanical test operations team. Establish work schedules, plans, and support required to allow performance of the ATLO effort to assure compliance with the established Program Integrated Master Schedules. Interfaces with the program, their customers and consultants regarding all aspects of SV ATLO mechanical operations tasks. Maintains open communication with the key program personnel. Creates a positive work environment for all ATLO personnel that incorporates effective communications, timely performance feedback, and opportunities for personal growth.

Manages the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the synthesis of customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Directs the following activities: establishing functional and technical specifications and standards, solving hardware/software interface problems, defining input/output parameters, and ensuring integration of the entire system or subsystem. Manages the development and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.

Basic Qualifications
• Must have an active secret security clearance
• Bachelors Degree (Engineering or a related field preferred)
• Experience related to GPS IIIF Spacecraft production activities, which includes developing detailed plans, understanding the entire lifecycle of the SV build, and providing status on the execution of those activities in order to meet customer commitments.
• Experience leading a multi-functional team consisting of mechanical test operations, mechanical/manufacturing engineering, and various production support functions.
• LM2100 Spacecraft assembly process and GSE background is required.
• Experience with the Failure/Test Analysis Board, Material Review Board and Configuration Control Board processes.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Command Media, particularly in the ATLO area and its application.
• Experience with GPSIIIF/LM2100 MGSE and EGSE.
• Must be capable of domestic travel and ability to work overtime and weekends.
• Experience in Test Procedure and MWI development of high value complex hardware (space preferred).
• Experience overseeing processes for major technical meetings, ROMs, proposals, and studies.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00

The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
