Qualifications

• BSc/MSc/PhD in Physics, Mathematics, Aerospace Engineering, Optical Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proven software development skills, especially in C++ or Python following best practices.
• Background in Hardware Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Systems, Optical).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems including mechanical, electrical, optical, firmware, and software issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain data collection software and hardware, including updates and connections to sensors.
• Debug software primarily in C++ and communicate findings with engineers and scientists.
• Verify functionality of consumer devices hardware during the bring-up phase.
• Design and execute experiments for product quality validation and troubleshooting.
• Create and implement automation procedures for robotics experiments.
• Calibrate devices using proprietary equipment.
• Operate and commission complex measurement and testing equipment while documenting processes alongside the core team.
