deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer in Huntsville, Al.

Position Description:

deciBel Research seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to support the Ground Based Midcourse (GMD) Weapon System (GWS). The successful candidate will support the GWS program as an individual contributor on the A&D MBSE team. This role is responsible for developing Systems Engineering products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/teams comprised of all experience levels.

Due to the nature of the role, this is not being offered as a teleworking or hybrid position.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM related field

Experience Requirements:
  • 2+ years with Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in utilization of DOORS
  • Recent requirements authoring experience

Special Skills Desired:
  • Test/Verification familiarity/understanding
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

  • Test Experience
