Pay Rate: $61.87/hour

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to advanced Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing (APNT) solutions designed for military ground, airborne, and maritime applications. You'll join a highly collaborative engineering team focused on developing and integrating real-time embedded navigation and timing technologies that help keep the warfighter safe, connected, and informed in contested environments.

What You'll Do

As a Systems Engineer, you'll work across systems, software, and hardware engineering teams while collaborating with technical experts, leadership, and external customers.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Create, update, and maintain system requirements and design documentation
• Support system requirements verification and traceability
• Develop verification test procedures and execute testing within a secure laboratory environment
• Conduct peer reviews of test procedures and technical design documentation
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to accomplish program and technical goals
• Coordinate technical communications, progress, and status updates with relevant stakeholders
• Develop design approaches in collaboration with subject matter experts
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and help drive issues through resolution across impacted teams
• Identify lessons learned and opportunities to continuously improve engineering and development approaches
• Support bid and proposal activities for new business pursuits
• Contribute to the integration of advanced navigation products for ground-based applications

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you should have:

• A bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or a related discipline, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• OR an advanced degree in a related field plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong technical aptitude and professional communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong teamwork, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic engineering environment
• High degree of motivation, initiative, and self-direction
• Confidence interacting with and presenting technical information to external customers and end users
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

We're especially interested in candidates who bring experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Python scripting
• Automated testing and test fixture development
• Testing frameworks such as Gherkin, Behave, or Robot Framework
• Networking, protocols, and security, including IP stack, NTP/PTP, and SSL/TLS
• System integration and testing
• Developing system Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) and use cases
• Prior military experience
• Managing multiple technical tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Self-starting work style with the ability to proactively identify task and project needs

Pay Details: $61.87 per hour
