Qualifications

• TS/SCI security clearance and US citizenship are required.
• Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of experience; or Master's and 12+ years; or PhD/JD and 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Over 10 years of systems engineering experience on complex defense/space/C3BM programs, with at least 5 years focused on MBSE using Cameo (or Sparx EA/Rhapsody).
• Strong expertise in SysML and architectural frameworks (DoDAF/UPDM/UAF); experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or JAMA and Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence).
• Proven capability in conducting trade studies, managing interface controls, and performing risk analyses with an ability to convert model outputs into clear technical guidance.
• Excellent communication skills for effective technical writing, model documentation, and stakeholder presentations. Collaborative skills to work across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering best practices throughout all lifecycle stages: concept, requirements, design, integration, validation and verification, deployment, and disposal.
• Develop and maintain Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models in Cameo Systems Modeler/Teamwork Cloud to document architecture, behavior, data flows, and interfaces.
• Lead the definition and decomposition of requirements while maintaining bidirectional traceability among requirements, architecture, and test artifacts.
• Conduct trade studies, analyses of alternatives, and risk assessments; define and manage system interfaces to ensure interoperability among CMCC components and external systems.
• Support the onboarding of capabilities aligned with SIP and facilitate decision-making for change control by updating models for various operational environments.
• Collaborate closely with software, hardware, cyber, and testing teams to drive integrated system design; prepare and present model-based documentation and briefings.
• Manage model repositories and ensure configuration control in TWC; generate necessary model artifacts such as operational views, UAF views, and sequence diagrams.
