Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer - Mission Integration to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX.

If selected you will:
  • Develop and maintain a mission activity database and related system mapping products to support integrated mission analysis
  • Build end-to-end mission and system mappings across multiple elements and interfaces
  • Develop and organize state-table-based system mapping products to support analysis and planning
  • Support preparation of technical products for major integration reviews and milestone assessments
  • Translate engineering and operational concepts into structured, traceable analytical products
  • Reverse engineer existing technical information, workflows, and system relationships as needed
  • Coordinate with program leads, analysts, and technical stakeholders to refine product content and approach
  • Receive initial knowledge transfer and handoff support, then transition into growing ownership of the product
  • Work across subsystem interfaces to ensure mission activities and operational relationships are accurately represented
  • Support a fast-paced development timeline with near-term product delivery expectations

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting complex aerospace, flight, or mission-oriented systems
  • Experience with test and verification, operations integration, or mission analysis activities
  • Experience developing system logic, operational flow products, state representations, or database-driven engineering products
  • Ability to quickly understand subsystem relationships and build technically sound mappings across a larger integrated system
  • Experience supporting technical review products and milestone-driven engineering efforts
