THE WORK
Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented level 4 Systems Engineer-IT with a Secret clearance to work from our Boulder, CO location.

As Systems Engineer-IT, you will:
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems, and information technology related responsibilities including design, development, and analysis of computer systems or programs based on and related to user or system design specifications; applying systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications.

Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

System monitoring, network/hardware troubleshooting, account maintenance, group policy updates, preventative maintenance, Information Assurance (IA) support,
patching, updating firewall configurations, remapping NAS partitions, software installation, file maintenance, backups, workstation imaging, server/workstation physical maintenance, automation and scripting, account creation, and password updates.

You will:
• Have experience with customer interactions.
• Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Develop and maintain OE/SA procedures and support the program's Configuration Management (CM) process.
• Conduct frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts.
• Complete a formal training program and obtain certification to perform duties.

Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of a combination of Linux/Windows scripting/software development, and configuration management experience
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, Korn, Bourne/Bash, Ansible and other shell scripting
• Significant System Admin knowledge and experience on platforms running Windows
• Experience with Active Directory, group policy
• Experience with RHEL Linux
• Experience maintaining physical and virtual servers
• Network, infrastructure, system monitoring
• Experience with revision control software (CVS, SVN, Git, GitLab, GitLab CI)
• Management, development of DevOps deployment automation processes preferred
• Interim Secret clearance prior to start with the ability to obtain a Top Secret.

• Functional experience with Cisco routers and switches and with Juniper Firewalls
• System Admin experience with network storage (SAN server / NAS server)

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $120,100 - $208,150. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
