Position Summary
Under general supervision, the person in this position is responsible for design, implementation, and development support for biotechnology solutions.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform research, evaluate emerging biotechnologies, consult scientific vendors, and apply industry best practices to design biotechnology solutions by utilizing systems analysis techniques and procedures, including collaborating with researchers and end users, to determine laboratory instrumentation, data management, and workflow requirements. Typically related to the implementation or enhancement of enterprise-scale biotechnology platforms and solutions of moderate complexity.
  • Validate, test and implement reagents and services.
  • Provide technical and advisory leadership as required to complete objectives.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to services, solutions and interfaces.
  • Provide training and mentoring for other personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
